i know i'm the worst blogger ever... maybe someday i'll be better.
lots has happened since the last time i wrote. well. about 4 major things anyway.
1st- both jon and i lost our jobs on the same day. i don't know if anyone else has been in the unemployed situation recently,but it's near impossible to find a job right now. we looked everywhere. but after almost of month of no income and bills piling up, our future looked more and more like we'd be living in our car soon if we didn't find jobs.
2nd- i've wanted to move out of utah for about 10 years now, so when Kristian, my sister Kira's husband said he could guarantee he could get me a job at UPS and we could stay at their house till we got back on our feet, we decided to take the plunge and move cross-country. We sold EVERYTHING we owned at a big yardsale and took with us only what fit in our car. (which ended up being mostly just my clothes, our movies, and our awesome gaming system collection. as well as our king size bed tied to the roof.)
3rd- unfortunately we discovered that we didn't love cincinnati quite as much as kira and kristian do. work was as hard to find as it was in utah (tho i did get that guaranteed job at UPS), and after we'd been there for 2 months we found out that we are pregnant! we knew we didn't want to raise a family there so--
4th- when jon got a job offer in kansas, we decided to move again. Things just started falling into place since we found out about the baby and decided on kansas. we got a ourselves a little apartment (and everything we needed to fill it, thanks to jon's generous friends). We already have a bunch of good friends here and tonz of support and advice.
"the kid" is due July 20th. we're both hoping for a girl, but we won't find out till halfway through feb.
any bets on if you'll see another update before then???

So wait you were in Cincinatti and you never called?! Well good luck with the whole baby adventure. I hope we get another post, when that baby comes along (at least then!)
Oh my gosh! You're having a baby! That's so great! Life is so crazy...I'm glad everything is working out for you. You should call me or something.
If the baby is due in July, you should be past the yucky, feeling sick part of the pregnancy, right? Hope all goes well for you.

i never really got morning sickness.. mostly just tired all the time and really hungry! i only got sick a couple of times. it's been a pretty great first trimester as far as symptoms go!
Congratulations about the baby! That is so exciting. :) Good luck with jobs and everything. Keep up the posts! I want to see pictures of your place and you! :)
Congrats Cindel I was, and still am so excited to hear this. I feel like the worst sister ever that I haven't called to congratulate you. Life as you know has been really crazy lately. If you ever have I question about any of it let me know I would love to help.
Oh yeah you got to give us some belly pics to see since you are so far away.
WHAT! How did I not know about this? Thanks for the update and it better be sooner than 6 months before another update- seriously. Congratulations! That is amazing:)
